It applies to our website (www.davidbeckvolleyball.com), our online Recruiting Class recruiting education, and any other services, tools, or platforms we use (collectively, the "Services"). We collect both digital and physical program information, including limited medical details necessary for safe participation in our in-person camps, clinics, and lessons.

David Beck Volleyball Coaching, LLC is a company registered in Maryland, United States.

We operate online college women's volleyball recruiting sessions, courses, blogs, and meetings focused on junior women’s volleyball recruiting, offering educational video content, white glove services, and guidance. In addition to our digital services, we provide in-person volleyball camps, clinics, and lessons to athletes of all ages. To support athlete safety during these in-person events, we collect relevant medical information through registration forms.
 

2. WHAT INFORMATION WE COLLECT

We collect personal information directly from various forms and submissions, as well as from your ongoing use of the Services. We also collect information via submission for camps and clinic signups. The information we may collect includes, but is not limited to:

  • Parent name and contact information (email address, phone number)

  • Athlete name and grade level

  • Club and high school name

  • Athlete volleyball position(s)

  • Academic information (GPA, standardized test scores if provided)

  • Recruiting goals and priorities

  • Highlight video links

  • Preferences related to college location, division level, academic fit, and more

  • Athlete's current recruiting progress (e.g., number of schools contacted)

  • Consent to learning via video-based content

  • Relevant medical information submitted prior to camps, clinics, or lessons (e.g., physical limitations, or other health-related details needed to ensure athlete safety)

We also collect information from:

  • Account sign-ups and login sessions

  • Billing and payment platforms (via Wix)

  • Personalized guidance request submissions

  • Direct Messaging

  • White Glove Services

Although all accounts are created and maintained by parents or legal guardians, minors may also access content, resources, and forms via the parent account. We occasionally may collect information from minors through this process that parents are responsible for supervising. Minors may access these items via a parent account under parental supervision. All setup, payment, and data submission responsibilities are to be executed or supervised by parents/guardians.
 

3. HOW WE USE YOUR INFORMATION

We process your information for several purposes, including but not limited to:

  • Provide you access to our Services and content

  • Manage billing through Wix 

  • Send relevant updates, resources, or service-related communication

  • Respond to inquiries and guidance requests

  • Analyze usage patterns to improve content and services

  • Use anonymized and aggregated responses (e.g., "What is your greatest joy during the recruiting process for your child?") to inform internal research, identify user needs, and occasionally highlight trends in marketing materials for Recruiting Class.

We do not sell personal information. We use medical information solely to ensure the health and safety of participants during in-person camps, clinics, and lessons.

4. HOW WE STORE AND PROTECT YOUR DATA

We use commercially reasonable security measures to protect your information. Payment data is stored securely by third-party platforms such as Wix, and we do not directly store or access your credit card information.

Although we use best practices, no digital platform is completely secure. You use our Services at your own risk, and we recommend using strong passwords and keeping any login information private.
 

5. THIRD-PARTY PLATFORMS

We rely on the following platforms to deliver our Services:

  • Wix: for website hosting, recruiting services billing, and camp/clinic/lesson billing

  • Venmo: for lesson billing

  • YouTube: for hosting athlete highlight videos

  • Loom: for delivering video feedback

  • Zoom: for virtual instruction

These third parties have their own privacy policies, which we encourage you to review.
 

6. PARENT AND MINOR ACCESS

Our Services are intended for parents of high school-aged athletes. While minors may access content and resources with parental supervision (e.g., how to build your highlight reel), parents and guardians are responsible for supervising.

By using our Services, you confirm that you are either:

  • A legal adult (18+); or

  • The parent or legal guardian acting on behalf of a minor child
     

7. DATA RETENTION

We retain user-submitted information indefinitely unless a deletion request is made by the parent or legal guardian. This helps us maintain accurate records and provide longitudinal support throughout the recruiting process. You may request to delete your information by contacting us at any time.
 

8. YOUR RIGHTS

Depending on your location, you may have the right to:

  • Request access to or a copy of your personal data

  • Request correction or deletion of your data

  • Withdraw consent to future communications

  • Request a restriction on how your data is processed
